Henderson and João Pedro lead Chelsea charge against Bournemouth
Watch and learn, kids. The day began with one for the youth audience, Cole Palmer appearing on a live stream to explain the thinking behind his latest contract extension. It finished with the oldest player to join Chelsea during the BlueCo era stealing the show with an all-action midfield display.
TL;DR
- Jordan Henderson, Chelsea's oldest debutant, scored twice and assisted once in an impressive midfield performance.
- Cole Palmer also shone, demonstrating his commitment to Chelsea with a strong performance.
- Chelsea secured a much-needed victory, moving up to fifth in the league standings.
- Bournemouth struggled, particularly in midfield, and are still winless after six league games.
- Chelsea's winless streak of 22 league games without a clean sheet continues despite the victory.
