Trump demands Axios pull 'hoax' story about Iran sanctions relief
President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Monday to slam what he called a “fake” Axios story about him offering up sanctions relief and currently frozen funds to Iran in exchange for promises on their nuclear program.
TL;DR
- Donald Trump denied an Axios report about offering sanctions relief to Iran.
- He stated on Truth Social that he offered Iran "NOTHING."
- Trump characterized the Axios story as a "HOAX" and a result of "Trump Derangement Syndrome."
