With school supplies in one arm, my baby on the opposing hip, and my twin 6-year-old boys and 3-year-old daughter trailing me like ducklings, I climbed the stairs up to the building for back-to-school night last week. There are 44 steps over three flights (I counted). And on the first flight, there’s a quote, each step escalating to the next phrase:
