Fall 2: Deadpoint review
There are just about enough hand-over-mouth moments to please thrill-seekers in this B-movie follow-up but eyerolls soon prevail
TL;DR
- Fall 2: Deadpoint is a sequel to the modestly successful 2022 thriller "Fall".
- The plot involves two young women attempting a dangerous sky-high plank walk in Thailand to overcome grief.
- The film repeats the "stupid position" premise of the original, with a rockslide causing chaos.
- It features bland motivational thinking and a twist that falls apart under scrutiny.
- Despite some nauseatingly suspenseful sequences, the writing and plot are criticized for being soapy and harebrained.
- The film concludes with another daft twist and sets up a third installment.
- Release dates are provided for US, Australia, and the UK.
